Somos los magos de las ciudades modernas. Sabemos movernos y observar.
No creemos en los modelos que ofrece la sociedad y el gobierno. La división entre partidos es una invención para mantenernos separados. No nos identificamos con ningún movimiento político que excluya al otro, sino que creemos en la inclusión y la diversidad. Cada persona ve el mundo según lo que ha heredado o aprendido, y a veces no puede cambiarlo. Nos da igual. Solo buscamos una política de cuidados.
Todo debe contribuir al bienestar común. No hacen falta tantos políticos. A veces, sus decisiones hacen que nuestras vidas sean innecesariamente difíciles y, además, no siempre podemos influir en ello, ya que la dinámica de poder es desproporcionada y absurda. Además, sus actuaciones públicas suelen ser feas y fuera de lugar.
Queremos señalar esa absurdidad. Una simple protesta. Recitaremos poemas bonitos, bailaremos y haremos teatro en lugar de dar charlas patéticas.
Pero también creemos en la pequeña comunidad como red de apoyo. Organizaremos eventos que aporten al bienestar de todos: talleres, charlas e incluso fiestas. Creemos que la reunión de personas es un espacio mágico.
No es necesario ver el mundo de la misma manera. Seguro que podemos conectar en algo más y así compartir, ayudarnos y crear juntos.
Siempre seremos un movimiento artístico comunitario. Pero, si algún día alcanzamos poder político real, también lo utilizaremos para mantener nuestros objetivos.
We are the magicians of modern cities. We know how to move and observe.
We don't believe in the models offered by society and the government. The division between political parties is an invention designed to keep us apart. We don't identify with any political movement that excludes others; instead, we believe in inclusion and diversity. Each person sees the world through the lens of what they've inherited or learned, and sometimes they can't change that. We don't care. We're just looking for a politics of care.
Everything must contribute to the common good. We don't need so many politicians. Sometimes their decisions make our lives unnecessarily difficult, and besides, we can't always influence them, since the power dynamics are disproportionate and absurd. Furthermore, their public performances are often ugly and out of place.
We want to highlight that absurdity. A simple protest. We'll recite beautiful poems, dance, and perform theater instead of giving pathetic speeches.
But we also believe in the small community as a support network. We'll organize events that contribute to everyone's well-being: workshops, talks, and even parties. We believe that when people come together, it creates a magical space.
We don't have to see the world the same way. Surely we can connect on something deeper and thus share, help one another, and create together.
We will always be a community-based artistic movement. But if one day we attain real political power, we will also use it to uphold our goals.
